The Race to Zala Springs
Zala Springs Golf Resort announces a tournament series consisting of 6 competitions.
Conditions of competitions
The tournament series will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the General Terms and Conditions of Competitions of the HGF, and in accordance with the local rules and the prescriptions of the Championship Committee and the Referees of Zala Springs Golf Resort.

Format of the competitions: individual stableford on 18 holes at each competition – HCP modifying competition
Dates of the competitions:
18th April 2020 – Saturday – Race to Zala Springs I. – ranking tournament
16th May 2020 – Saturday – Race to Zala Springs II.
20th June 2020 – Saturday – Race to Zala Springs III. – ranking tournament
18th July 2020– Saturday – Race to Zala Springs IV.
1st August 2020 – Saturday – Race to Zala Springs V. – Charity Golf
13th September 2020 – Saturday – Race to Zala Springs VI.
24th October 2020 – Saturday – Race to Zala Springs VII.
Categories:
Men A – 0-18
Men B – 19-36
Women – 0-36
Senior – 0-36
Junior – 0-36
C* – HCP 37-54
(*The players of the C category will play over 9 holes)
Tees:
Men – yellow (men standard)
Women – red (women standard)
Senior – blue (men close)
Junior – boys under 12 – blue (men close), above 12– yellow (men standard), girls – red (women standard)
Start list:
The start list will be based on EHCPs in ascending order at all competitions. The Competition Committee keeps the right to change the start list.
Tee time:
The reception of the club provides the information on the day before the competition from 3 PM on the phone number +36 30 240 4209 or can be seen by visiting the Hungarian Golf website.
Score cards
Score cards must be returned at the reception in the club house. The scoring area where the scores may be checked is located in front of the reception in the club house. After returning the score card and leaving the reception it is prohibited to make any alteration on the score card.

Men A – Nett I., II., III.
Men B – Nett I., II., III.
Women – Nett I., II., III.
Senior – Nett I.
Junior – Nett I.
C* – Nett I.
There will be great prizes for each event and in the final prize draw there will be the chance in each category to win a yearly membership at Zala Springs Golf Resort. You have to be present to be able to win. The more times you play the more chance you have to win.
Each time you participate in the Race to Zala Springs you will get an entry ticket to final prize draw. The number of entry tickets to the final prize draw increases with the more tournaments that you play.
1st Tournament entry – 1 entry ticket to the final prize draw
2nd Tournament entry – 2 entry tickets to the final prize draw
3rd Tournament entry – 3 entry tickets to the final prize draw
4th Tournament entry – 4 entry tickets to the final prize draw
5th Tournament entry – 5 entry tickets to the final prize draw
6th Tournament entry – 6 entry tickets to the final prize draw
7th Tournament entry – 7 entry tickets to the final prize draw
Prize giving:
Half an hour after closing of the tournament
Deadline for Claims:
No later than half an hour after the tournament has been finished, claims must be in written.
Fee of Claims: 10.000,- HUF

19.900,- Ft – for members of other clubs
The entry fee includes the green fee, the start package and the dinner after the competition.
The entry fee must be paid at the reception of the club by card or cash.
Balls:
The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls issued by the R&A.
E-Carts:
The usage of the golf carts must be announced along when applying to a competition, and in case of a ranking list competition the medical certificate must be presented. For players over 70 years there is no need to present the medical certificate.
Championship Committee, Referees
Members of the Championship Committee and the Referees will be announced at the board of the Club.
The Championship Committee and the Referees reserve the right to make changes.
