Robert Trent Jones Jr. is a master golf course architect. He has created more than 300 courses around the world. Most of his courses have hosted major golf tournaments from the USPGA Tour to the European PGA Tour, The Senior PGA Tour and The World Cup of Golf as many others. Finally one of his courses was hosting the 2015 American Open Championship. He is the winner of many Best Course and Best New Course Awards in Asia, Europe, Australia, Caribbean and the United States. According to Robert Trent Jones Jr., their golf courses are of the earth but for the spirit.
’We are thrilled to have designed a golf course that is meant to played and experienced by players of all skill levels in a variety of different and imaginative ways. Every golf hole at Zala Springs will give you a wide range of strategic options. This includes different ways to approach greens. You will be able to reach the green via the air or the ground with each option presenting a unique set of challenges. You will also be able to use the many fairway short grass green surrounds as a strategic advantage on many holes, but you will also encounter fairway shots that will present a challenge. Discovering where slopes and contours mowed tightly to accept shots are, and which fairway areas are to be avoided will be part of the hidden strategy we have designed into this exquisite, beautiful course.

18 hole international championship golf course
A unique golf experience is guaranteed by one of the world’s finest course designers Robert Trent Jones Jr., whose outstanding career spans more than four decades. The 18 hole championship golf course is 6351 m long (PAR 72) built surrounded natural reserves, vineyards and lakes, suitable to host all international tournaments both for professionals and amateurs.
The design of the golf course allows all players from the beginner to the professional to enjoy the course, there are 4 different tees to choose from.
The course fits beautifully in the picturesque Zala Valley, around the course vineyards, rolling hills similar to the Tuscan countryside and lakes can be found. The whole 18 hole length of the course was completed in September 2015. The Zala Springs Golf Resort’s 3000 m2, two-story club house provides comfort for the visitors of the golf club.

Halfway House Service – “The Cup”
Zala Springs Health & Golf Resort | Golf Season 2026
We are pleased to inform our valued members and guests that during the 2026 golf season, our Halfway House service, “The Cup”, will be available in a renewed format with fixed opening hours.
The service will operate from April 6, 2026 until the end of October, daily between
09:00 am – 05:30 pm.
On tournament days, opening hours may vary depending on tee times and the number of participants.
We kindly invite you to enjoy the extended service and ask you to follow the usage guidelines on the course to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for all golfers.

Our 18 hole (PAR 72) championsip golf course was built using full USGA specifications. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, who is one of the greatest golf course designers of the world. We are welcoming you at the 6351 m long 18 hole course which will attract beginners and high level golfers alike.
